Sometimes the data we work with is secure or proprietary. While Sema maintains high data protection measures, we are also able to provide insights using metadata only.
Metadata can be provided via a file with the following characteristics:
- Each row is a unique commit-file pair— a file changed (or created) in a specific commit
- Includes the following:
- Committer name
- Committer email
- Date of commit
- Comments
- What file was changed/ created
- Unique Identifier for each commit
Share that file any of the following ways:
Dropbox
- Share code directory with “Sema-Customer” user
- Send a compressed archive of the repository directory to customers@semasoftware.com
Share via sFTP
- Send a compressed archive of the repository following the directions below
- Create a public SSH Key
- Share that key with customers@semasoftware.com
- Your project manager will notify you once the key is loaded and provide a username and Server IP for Sema's sFTP server.
